Livia pure skin care

Organic Comfrey, dandelion and geranium is combined with witch hazel, aloe vera, sunflower, tea tree, peppermint and sweet almond oil and then mixed with fine ground pumice and dead sea salt to create a morning cleanser that will have you jumping out of the shower ready to face the day.

And dismiss the thought of these products not lasting on the shelf without preservatives – kept in a cool, dark place, Livia skin care will last at least a year – but once you start using them, it will be gone much quicker.

Livia raw skin care

Raw food, with its milk-thistle tonics and dehydrated pizzas, is an acquired taste, but raw skin care is something we can easily swallow. Livia’s processing- and preservative-free cleansers, toners, masques and serums are the ultimate in eco beauty. And don’t worry about quick expiry dates. Whenever I go for a facial, the esthetician always tells me my skin is so dry. “You need to exfoliate,” she always says.

And I know I do. As we age (don’t remind me!), our skin turnover slows from a 30-day cycle (in our teen years), to 40-60 days, so instead of having smooth, soft skin, it looks dry, crepey and flaky.

Exfoliation sloughs off the dead skin cells, helping reveal the new, soft skin sooner. This is key not only for having a fresher, more youthful look, but moisturizers are able to better penetrate into the skin, which means fine lines get plumped up and less visible!
